A super stylish barn conversion with everything you could need. It feels very luxurious throughout and the bath tub deserves a special mention. We used the hot tub every day and felt so relaxed and decadent! There’s plenty to do in the area, the hosts are super friendly and we would definitely recommend.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The muffins, milk, fresh eggs and a beautiful rose was a delightful welcome. The area was so peaceful and extremely beautiful . We had some delightful walks in Inverary and on the cowal way. Both a short drive from the cottage. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after long days hiking. Communication was excellent from start to finish with lots of information on the area. Had a wonderful time

We had a lovely break away at the cottage , it is such a lovely property, pictures don’t do it justice , Sam & Ian met us when we arrived and were so nice and friendly , there was everything in the cottage to make it very comfortable, they actually had thought of everything and plenty of towels etc , lovely big range cooker and full size fridge , lots of cooking utensils, pots and pans, it was my husband’s birthday when we were there and Sam baked him a lovely birthday cake and handed it over , such a lovely touch , would definitely recommend this place to stay and hot tub was great

Fantastic !!!

The property is in a secluded area with lovely views from the outside deck area. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The facilities inside were amazing. The barn is decorated to give a feel of rustic yet modern farm life. It was very clean on arrival with every comfort of home. irritated once. Every direction you drive for the day provides amazing views. We’d recommend Bute and Inveraray, we also enjoyed Benmore Botanical gardens. For a meal out we loved the Whistlefield Inn near Dunoon. We’d like to thank the owners who live on site but we’re never intrusive but very welcoming and helpful. The Ducks and chickens were a hit with the children. This property is all on one level with wide doorways/corridors and would be very suitable for anyone with mobility issues. A perfect holiday, we will be back.

A wonderful stay in a beautifully furnished, clean and well appointed property. Warm and genuine hosts were on hand to provide tips on local activities and restaurants.

We liked the beautiful peaceful location of the property. Perfect for exploring the area and/ or relaxing.

Accommodation was very homely and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more, everything is there what you need. Extremely peaceful and quiet location.

Heavenly Hot Tub

Just wanted to let you know what a fantastic stay we've had in Lochgoilhead. It is the most gloriously beautiful village. There are loads of great walks as well as food and drink options. The house itself was cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed right at hand. The housekeeper and maintenance man were so helpful. And the hot tub was heavenly! I highly recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a pretty, peaceful, comfy stay in all the beauty of rural Scotland. Kind regards Allysan

This is an enchanted place.

This is a wonderful place and the property matches the beauty and the excellence of the location. It is clean and tidy with plenty of room. The bedrooms are a good size as are the living room and the kitchen. The views are simply breath taking. So many magical places to see and explore. It is quiet and peaceful and if you're looking for a place where you leave the noise, pollution the hustle and bustle of the modern world behind, well you need not look any further. This place can only be described as totally magical. The people who run the place amazing service all round.

The cottage has a very welcoming comfortable feel instantly. It is equipped with all you need and can want, it was very clean airy and bright with the most stunning views that you could never tire of looking at. The hot tub was great the surroundings amazing a fantastic touch and its reassuring to see it is checked and cleaned regularly. I can not recommend this beautiful home away from home enough having everything needed to keep my 8 and 13 year old entertained and feeling at home. The extra little touches of the small things you forget is great and appreciated and the host was lovely.

Absolutely loved it.

Absolutely fantastic location. Everyone in the area was very friendly. Despite it being quite remote there was everything we needed nearby. Loch Lomond is just a short drive away. Great facilities, even had access to Netflix which was great for the evenings.

Great Place

Great place to stay would really recommend the local pub a great place to eat people really friendly. Nice lunch at the estate around the loch. Make sure to check opening times as the boat cafe was only open from Thursday onwards. Views from the hot tub amazing.

This gem of a place is a must if you’re in the area.

This cute cottage was a wonderful retreat. It was cozy well decorated and in the ideal location with wonderful views. The pictures just don’t do this place justice. Manager was timely with responding to my questions and even went the extra mile to find me a pack-in-play for my little one to sleep in. This gem of a place is a must if you’re in the area.

Lots to say, all good  Beech Cottage

This is a bijou cottage tucked in a clearing in lovely woodlands, just yards from the shore of Loch Fyne. It's really quiet and peaceful. Inside it is cosy and inviting, albeit small. It's well furnished. It was super clean too. The electric shower is good. There was ample hot water on the timer. Access to the Loch is down the track and turn right to walk on the pavement to the jetty. There is a 'beach' to get into the water. Otherwise drive the 3 miles to the Creggans Inn and there's access to a nicer beach from a faint path by the lawn. Inveraray is only a 20 minute drive away. But the best is the road to Lochgoilhead to access the Cowal Way and 3 Corbetts as well as Carrick Castle (can't be visited but excellent backdrop). The other superb drive is to Otter Ferry (the Oystercatcher is really good and I believe the Inver restaurant is very fine too), along the coast. On a sunny evening, you can't beat it. If you stay on the A road you can drive to Tighnabruich and watch out for the great viewpoint overlooking the Kyles of Bute, on to Portavadie for a dook in the infinity pool at the marina (you need to book in advance). The restaurant is great too. We went home (to the central belt) via Dunoon and the ferry, and saw a porpoise! the views from the ferry are really exceptional, what a complex coastline the Clyde coast is. Wonderful. An excellent week's holiday.

Nature Spotting

Well, equipped cottage in peaceful setting. Enjoyed seeing a variety of birds and red squirrels in the garden. Prompt replies from Sam to any queries we had.

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Absolutely loved our visit to loch lomand, such a beautiful place, with plenty to do, my favourite was the botanic garden and the jail museum, also plenty of friendly pub’s restaurants to eat in. The cottage we stayed in had everything you could ask for, we had a log fire every night, and every morning the bird feeders was full of little blue tits, and every night we walked down the path to the loch and watch the sun go down, so peaceful.

We came on a family holiday for a week It has everything you need for a wonderful stay, the garden is great with a small stream for the kids to play in. Peter & Sai are wonderful host and were very helpful recommending places to visit. Such as a beach with white sand, pubs and cafes, Castles, Loch Fyne and great wildlife
